On June 25, 2022, Polish professional dunker Piotr Grabowski, also known as “Grabo,” was crowned the winner of the Crelan FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2022 dunk event.
According to projections made by PAGCOR, the total amount of money wagered by players in the Philippines, less the money won, would equal to 256 billion pesos by the year 2026, with land-based casinos expected to contribute 146 billion pesos to this total.
Grabowski, now 23 years old, put on a display in Amsterdam, the city where he had won silver three years before.
The dunker standing at a height of 6 feet (1.83 meters) bested both the silver medalist from the Netherlands, Remco Frankin, and the bronze medalist from Latvia, Kristaps Dargais.
