CRELAN : After guiding France to their first-ever World Cup victory on June 26, Laetitia Guapo was honored as the tournament’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Crelan FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2022.
The 26-year-old player finished first in scoring for Les Bleues in Antwerp, including a game-high five points scored in the championship game versus Canada.
Both Michelle Plouffe, who led Canada to a historic silver medal, and Lili Wang, who won bronze with China, were included on the Team of the Tournament. Plouffe led Canada to the silver medal, while Wang earned bronze with China.
